Led a relaunch and repositioning of the pioneering online publication. Broadened coverage on the site, bringing original reporting and integrated audio and video into the site.

Entertainment Weekly
Implemented redesign, top-edited new sections, and developed younger writers. Tapped by Time Inc. to create and launch Look, a monthly movie magazine prototype.

Budget living
Brainstormed, developed, and built the groundbreaking independent lifestyle title from scratch, winning an array of awards and plaudits. Later promoted from Executive Editor to Editor-in-Chief.

Senior editor of the title at its literary peak. Worked with top authors (George Plimpton, Tom Wolfe) and on projects such as Black Hawk Down and a 9/11 special issue. Contributed to sister publication Rolling Stone.

Trained as a reporter at Sports Illustrated, hired on-staff at SI For Kids. Produced SI Daily at the Atlanta Olympics. Helped launch NBA Inside Stuff magazine.
